The combo of music, sound, and technology has been with me for about as long as I can remember.

 

Growing up I was inspired by both of my grandfathers.  On my father’s side, he always had instruments around for us to play together. On my mother’s side, he was a radio DJ and shortwave radio operator with a room full of fascinating gear and lessons about how to change tubes.  

 

That influence carried into the 90s when I started playing in bands, naturally gravitating toward collecting gear and making sure the recordings happened.

 

Little did I know, this fascination would grow into a guiding force in my life - the bonding and communication of music and sound, and the technology to get it out to the world.
